 None of the new features affect any of our themes, and we have updated all our demos to 2.9 and they are working without any problems.

If you are carfully when visit WordPress.org ,if you will notice that the classic blue download button now says “Download WordPress 2.9″. Yes, the WordPress released version 2.9 last night, with some nice new features added. Download it now!

This is a major upgrade, and brings some really cool new features, including:

  • Trash bin (no more problems with accidentally deleting posts or pages), But i don’t like the Revisions post, and Disabled  it!
  • Built-in image editor : Which is great for me to editor PIG when write the post.
  • Batch plugin update
  • Easier video integration
  • rel=”canonical” tag support, great for SEO Friendly.
  • database optimization
  • and more than 500 places.

Update is necessary. you can logged into your WordPress dashboard and click the “WordPress 2.9 is available! Please update now“  Which is easily.

I recommend everybody to upgrade to the latest version of WordPress. But if you have some small bugs, you can give me a note if i can help you! :)    That’s all free fee!!
